BATON ROUGE — The Office of Motor Vehicles' system experienced intermittent outages on Tuesday. 

The outages started on Monday. 

"You may experience extended wait times," a sign posted on the OMV office on Independence Boulevard in Baton Rouge said.

An exact cause has not been determined for the outages, but WBRZ has reached out to the OMV, Louisiana State Police and the state Office of Technology Services to learn more.
