Officials confirm at least one fatality in fiery head-on collision that happened on I-10 EB

PRAIRIEVILLE - Officials confirmed at least one person died in a crash that happened on I-10 eastbound early Friday morning.
The crash involved an 18-wheeler and another vehicle that collided head-on. Multiple agencies responded including the parish coroner's office.
The identity of the deceased person or persons was not immediately available.
I-10 eastbound was closed for several hours but reopened around 6:40 a.m..

TEAM 2 TRAFFIC: All eastbound lanes are blocked on I-10 near I-110 split; traffic congested into Port Allen

BATON ROUGE — All eastbound lanes are blocked on Interstate 10 near the I-110 split.
Traffic is backed up over the bridge into Port Allen.
There is no further information about what caused the lane closures.

TEAM 2 TRAFFIC: Westbound lanes of US 90 past Baldwin reopened after barrier was pushed into lanes

BALDWIN — Westbound traffic traveling on U.S. 90 was briefly rerouted onto La. 3211 after a concrete barrier was pushed into westbound lanes on Monday.
The roadway has since re-opened, officials said.
St. Mary Parish deputies said U.S. 90 westbound was closed between La. 318 and La. 83 just past Baldwin.
