DUTCHTOWN, La. - In the Prairieville-Dutchtown game, one team scored a touchdown, the other did not. All Dutchtown needed was three field goals from Lucas Caruso and a clutch forced fumble from their defense to win over the Hurricanes 9-6.

Neither offense could get much of anything going, the biggest play of the night yards wise for Prairieville came in the first half. Hurricanes QB Skylar Kelly hit Nayden Paul downfield.

The Hurricanes' field goal attempt later on the drive ended up being blocked, but Prairieville went ahead going into halftime off a touchdown pass from Kelly to Parker Faist. Two Griffin field goals off the boot of Caruso in the second half ended up putting Dutchtown ahead.

With the loss, Prairieville falls to 0-2 in district play and 2-3 overall. The Griffins move up to 4-1 and 1-1 in district.
