BATON ROUGE - Week four of the high school football season started with some big Thursday night wins for a pair of Iberville Parish schools.

North Iberville got out to a fast start against Capitol High. After getting an interception on the opening drive, Bears' running back Jeremy Favorite punched in a touchdown for an early 6-0 lead.

The Bears would lead 22-0 before Capitol got on the board. Freshman Aaron Bracken rushed around defenders to get the Lions on the board in the first quarter.

However, it was not enough to quiet the Bears. Favorite would score four touchdowns in just the first quarter.

North Iberville gets the 52-12 victory.

Across the river, St. John won big over East Iberville. After leading by two touchdowns early on, running back Ahmad Wilson would break loose to add another touchdown for the Eagles.

Trailing 21-0, the Tigers find an answer when quarterback Elijah Parker rushes in a touchdown. It was 21-6 at the half.

The Eagles came out hot in the second half when Daniel Braud rushed in a touchdown. St. John took the win 49-14.
