BATON ROUGE — Halloween costumes filled a neonatal intensive care unit in Baton Rouge as the hospital's smallest patients celebrated Halloween.

The celebration happened at Baton Rouge General, where the tradition gave families and care teams a chance to celebrate the babies and capture memories. The babies were in the hospital's Level III NICU.

Baton Rouge General's Level III NICU provides specialized care for newborns who need extra medical attention, including babies born prematurely or with health complications. A dedicated multidisciplinary team works closely with families to support each baby's unique needs and give them the best possible start.
