PLAQUEMINE — The City of Plaquemine has issued a Boil Water Advisory for the area from South Barrow Street to St. Louis Road due to a main water line break.

City officials are advising that residents and businesses within the affected area boil their water before consuming it or using it for food preparation until further notice.

City crews are working to address the water line break. The city will provide an update when the advisory has been lifted.
