BATON ROUGE — Bally's has finished construction on a new entrance to its casino and hotel in downtown Baton Rouge.

The new entrance is the final piece of a $163 million expansion of the property formerly known as Catfish Town. Construction crews say the structure took seven hours to install.

Mike the Tiger and LSU cheerleaders were on hand for the occasion.
