IBERVILLE — The family of a 22-year-old Texas woman who disappeared after a crash on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge is asking authorities to expand the investigation.

Christin Munn-Holliday was last seen Sept. 30 after a two-car crash near the Whiskey Bay exit. Investigators found her car unoccupied while the other car had multiple people inside. Witnesses from the crash reported seeing her walk away from the scene.

Her mother, LaReshia Holliday, believes someone may have targeted Christin. She wants authorities to expand the case from a missing person investigation to a possible abduction investigation and involve the FBI.

"My baby didn't walk off that bridge. I don't even believe my baby got out of her car. I believe she was snatched out of her car," said Holliday.

The family is also asking authorities to call the other people involved in the crash back in for further questioning.

"Y'all was the last people to see her. Y'all need to be questioned," said Holliday.

Iberville Parish Sheriff Brett Stassi told WBRZ Sunday, Oct. 11, that nothing has been ruled out of the investigation at this time, and they are investigating all possible avenues.

One of the last places her cellphone pinged was at a gas station in Lafayette. Holliday and her husband, Robert Munn, said they are scheduled to return to Louisiana next week to review surveillance footage from that gas station.

"I know my daughter, so I wanted to see so I could watch her body language, observe the parking lot, and pay attention to the vehicles," said Munn, Christin's father.

The United Cajun Navy joined the Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office in searching the Whiskey Bay area, where witnesses said they last saw Christin.

Christin Munn-Holliday is the mother of a 4-year-old, and her family says the young child has not been able to grasp the situation.

"All I could tell him is that she was in a crash, that she, we can't find her," said Holliday.

The family is offering a $20,000 reward for Christin's safe return. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers or the Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office.
