BATON ROUGE — Parts of Southern University are without power again Tuesday.

Around 8:45 a.m., the university said they are aware of "sporadic power outages affecting some buildings" on campus. 

"Facilities Services and Entergy crews are actively assessing the situation to determine the cause and address the issue," officials said.

Updates about classes, campus operations and scheduled events for the university's homecoming will be provided as more information becomes available, officials added.

Tuesday's outage is the latest power outage on the Baton Rouge campus, with issues dating back several weeks.
