Southern University to hold classes remotely for rest of the week due to power issues
BATON ROUGE - Southern University is holding classes remotely for the rest of the week as the school deals with ongoing power issues, the university said.
The school said it plans for normal campus operations to resume on Monday, September 14. Power has been restored to academic buildings and residence halls, but the school says it wants to ensure the electrical systems are stable.
Southern has canceled in-person classes for the last three days as it deals with power issues.
