St. George announces $2 million project to fix dangerous turn lanes near soccer complex
ST. GEORGE - City leaders announced safety improvements to Burbank Drive near the soccer complex.
A new project will change the turn lanes surrounding the complex. Officials say the $2 million improvement project will also add better lighting and improve the sight line.
Mayor Dustin Yates says it is a change that's badly needed.
"This facility is packed with families every weekend, 52 weeks out the year," Yates said. "This roadway in front of the soccer fields tends to be fairly dangerous."
