This Baton Rouge bank will ring the the Nasdaq Closing Bell on Monday
BATON ROUGE — A Baton Rouge-based bank will ring the Nasdaq Closing Bell on Monday to celebrate a significant milestone.
Investar Bank, now operating 36 locations across the Gulf South, is ringing the bell to celebrate 20 years of operations, according to prepared statement.
“Ringing the Nasdaq Closing Bell is an incredible honor and a meaningful moment for everyone at Investar,” John D’Angleo, president and chief executive officer, said in a prepared statement.
"For 20 years, our success has been driven by our people and the relationships we have built with our customers and communities," he said. "We are proud of our history and excited about the opportunities ahead as we continue to deliver brilliant banking and an even brighter experience for our customers.”
Investar, founded in 2006, has grown from a single community bank to a financial institution with branches in Louisiana, Alabama and Texas. Investar Holding Corporation, parent company of wholly-owned subsidiary Investar Bank, reported total assets of approximately $3.9 billion as of June 30.
