CENTRAL - A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Greenwell Springs Road, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office said.

The crash happened around 5:10 a.m. on Saturday morning. Initial investigations show that the driver, Travis Blaine Guidry, of Denham Springs, was traveling southbound when the vehicle ran off the road, hit a ditch and rolled.

Guidry was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.

Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, and Guidry was not wearing a seatbelt, deputies said. Impairment is not suspected.
