Saints first-round draft pick could miss first month of the regular season
NEW ORLEANS - Saints first-round draft pick Jordyn Tyson could miss two months of action as a result of a hamstring injury he suffered in a joint-practice against the Jacksonville Jaguars last week in New Orleans according to reports from the NFL.
Ian Rapoport reported on Monday afternoon that Tyson's injury could have him sideline for as long as two months and that the Saints will consider putting the wide receiver on injured reserve to start the 2026 season.
#Saints rookie WR Jordyn Tyson, who has been a standout during training camp, is expected to be out roughly two months with his hamstring injury, per me and @MikeGarafolo.

Tyson was the eighth overall pick in the first round of the NFL Draft and was expected to be an instant impact player for the Saints and their newly emerging offense with second-year quarterback Tyler Shough and coach Kellen Moore.
The former Arizona State standout was known to have hamstring injuries in his past, but the Saints went forward with their selection of Tyson knowing his injury status.
If Tyson does in fact miss the next two months to heal, he would likely miss the first six games of the regular season.
