BATON ROUGE — Families in Baton Rouge had the chance to pick up free Halloween costumes for their children Sunday.

The Great Costume Giveaway took place from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Main Library at Goodwood. The 10/31 Consortium said they had around 500 costumes to give out.

Organizers say costumes were available for children of all ages with no registration or proof of need required. They were available while supplies lasted.
