HAMMOND — Hammond Police Department are asking the public for help identifying a woman they say stole from the Piggly Wiggly, located on Highway 190 in Hammond. 

On Sunday, police responded to a reported theft at the store at approximately 1 p.m. Upon arriving, police learned that the female suspect fled the area after she allegedly concealed merchandise and exited the building without paying.
